The first room we got was very nice (it was an apartment room) , it needed a extra wipe down for dust however it wasn’t to bad . The room was very nice. You will need some white noise background at night due to a consistent unknown noise. They are adding a gym which looks amazing , also the staff were extremely kind and helpful . The second room was not the best , the floor was uneven , no access to heating , the lock wasn’t working properly, also the shower had no door , which caused to bathroom floor to stay wet 24/7 which was horrible. The rooms weren’t the best but the staff was very nice .

There were 4 of us staying here and we had a wonderful time. Really great stay, wonderful location with easy access to great food, convince stores, and shopping. It is also right next to public transportation and was well furnished. We returned late at night sometimes around 2am or 3am, and neighborhood felt pretty safe and no one bothered us. Everything was exactly as pictured. Staff were very helpful and fixed any problems we brought up. If you are looking for comfortable, easy, and well located stay I would highly recommend 17john Hotel.

This was the peace, quiet and hint of luxury I needed while in the big city. The air quality in the unit and building was superb. The onsite laundry was a very useful perk. Multiple restaurants and coffee shops in the area. As well as grocery and shopping malls. GF options too. The staff were friendly and helpful. Kitchen was well equipped with essentials. Perfect stay.

I recently stayed in room 1205. The space was surprisingly large, clean, and comfortable. And I appreciated having both a stove and microwave in-unit. The sheets were fresh, and overall the stay was great. A few areas for improvement: the property doesn’t have a gym, the bathroom grout and ceiling could use a refresh, and it’d be nice to get extra water beyond the 2 bottles at check-in. Reaching housekeeping was a bit tricky as well since requests had to go through email. I’d still happily stay again — the room size and cleanliness really stood out.

This was an incredibly good stay, at a great location, and excellent value for money, considering it's in one of the most exciting cities in the world. The receptionists are super helpful. The room is very well-equipped, with enough toiletries, and kitchen equipment. It's actually bigger than it looks, with a decent sized sitting area as well. Good soundproofing,so you're not bothered at all by the noise of other people on the floor. The washers and dryers in particular were very useful.

We loved our stay! The space was comfortable and well-equipped. The host was responsive and the staff very welcoming and helpful. We have three people, stayed 4 nights, and felt right at home. The laundry was a plus! The location is perfect, with the metro just a few steps away and lots of great food options also within walking distance. It’s definitely worth the money.

Stayed here and had a solid experience. Clean room, easy check-in process, and can't beat the location near the express trains. Everything was straightforward and exactly what you'd want for a NYC stay. Recommend if you're looking for a convenient, no-hassle place to crash while exploring the city.

My family stayed here in October 2025 and had the absolute best time. All of our expectations from the booking were not only met, but exceeded. Super spacious, clean space. Nice lounge area with coffee and ice and seating area. They graciously stored our luggage as we got in early. It was quiet, so close to the subway and in a wonderful neighborhood. Not only that, but their graciousness extended beyond our stay dates to help us secure and return a left item. Clear, friendly communication, so very responsive and have truly bent over backwards to help us out. I will absolutely look here first on our next trip to NYC as it was truly such a wonderful experience during (and after... ;) )! Can't recommend enough!
